Inspired by Mikasa Ackerman’s legendary six (eight? twelve?) pack. If your goal is to look like you could decapitate a Titan with a bicycle crunch, then this is the routine for you!

Also known as Shingeki no Abs because you will be howling like a Titan taking a 3DMG blade through the back of the neck by the time you’re done.

The image includes instructions based on your fitness level. Each set takes about 10 minutes to complete; the full routine lasts approximately an hour depending on how long you rest in-between sets. If you’re a beginner, please be careful! Take your time and pay attention to your body; if something starts hurting or you feel dizzy, short of breath, etc. stop the exercise immediately.

That aside, if you’re confused about any of the terms used in this workout, Google is your friend! All of these are basic calisthenic exercises that will pop up if you plug ‘em in your search bar. (For example, try searching “bicycle ab exercise” or “how to do a dumbbell side bend.”) Image Search will even pull up simple diagrams that show you how to do each move, so give it a whirl.

If you don’t have dumbbells: that’s okay! You can still do the moves without dumbbells, or substitute something like filled water bottles as weights. (FYI: Target sells super cheap dumbbells in a variety of weights. If you’re just starting out and want to motivate yourself by investing in a pair of dumbbells, I’d recommend beginning with 5 lbs or 6 lbs. Don’t bother with 2-3 lbs, those are so light that they really won’t do anything for you. I used 10-12 lb weights while designing this routine.)

And remember these other general tips if you want defined abs: Work slow, don’t speed through each rep (quality, not quantity; doing 10 good reps is far better than doing 30 half-assed ones). Drink lots of water. Eat clean; focus on nutrient-dense foods and a diet high in protein. Most importantly, incorporate cardio to burn fat and reveal that six pack you’re working on!
